Today, MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON open a fresh chapter in the brands’ ongoing collaboration; a celebration of a shared ethos offering unconventional perspectives on progressive and technically advanced designs.
The XT-4 – a SALOMON icon – is re-engineered as an All-Gender slipper for the street by the MM6 design studio. Filtered through MM6’s irreverent design perspective, the high-tech sneaker unexpectedly morphs into a geek-chic summer mule.
Advanced trail-running technologies are repurposed into the most essential and universal shoe form, geared towards ease and comfort.
Like a handmade stamp, the MM6 numeric signature logo unexpectedly placed up on the shoe’s toe, an artisanal hallmark to complement the bold, hi-tech graphic of the SALOMON logo.
